The Village of Belleville Fall Clean-up is September 27th-28th

September 27th-28th is the Village of Belleville's fall clean-up.

This is the time to place items that do not fit in your trash cart at the curb for disposal. Please review the list of acceptable items below. Please place small items in trash bags (50 lbs or less), not in reusable containers or cardboard boxes.

Please place these items neatly at your curbside next to your cart by 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27th. If volume is high, pick-up may continue on Thursday, September 28th. We will make one trip through the Village, so all items must be out to the curb by Wednesday at 6:00 a.m.

Please note: Placing your trash in bags before putting it in your cart for normal pickup helps to cut down on wind-blown litter and allows for easier clean-up if carts tip over. For recyclables, use only clear or see-through plastic bags. (Recyclable items placed in black bags will not be recycled. See our website for more details about recycling contamination.)

Please share this email with your neighbors so they can partake in the clean-up and also sign up for future email updates on our website.

Important Safety Notice on Batteries

Please do NOT put batteries—or any devices containing batteries—in your trash or recycling containers. They can start fires. If you need to charge a device, it has a battery. Don't throw it out. Take it to a drop-off site. Check your local Clean Sweep location, battery store or call2recycle.org for a nearby drop-off site. Please remove all batteries from items you set out for the annual curbside clean-ups.
