Permanent dumpsters offer an easy and effective way to handle your commercial waste and recycling needs. 2, 4, 6, or 8 cubic yard containers are the most commonly used dumpsters for non-residential, commercial waste collection. The dumpster(s) can typically be delivered within a day of completing a service agreement and placed in an enclosure or location that is easily accessible to your clean up crew and our collection trucks. Our sales specialist will perform an on-site survey to aid in making sure the right size container is selected for your needs and a service schedule will be determined. Twice a week, weekly or bi-weekly collection schedules are common.
If you consistently have materials that are too large to dispose of using front load containers or a compactor, permanent roll-off containers may be used. Large permanent containers range from 12 to 30 cubic yards and are typically 'on call' meaning you call us when the dumpster is ready to be emptied.
Some discarded material may be hazardous or require special handling instructions for disposal. Please refer to our page on prohibited materials for additional information about hazardous and banned materials for Madison and Wisconsin dumpster rentals.

There are several factors to keep in mind when choosing the best size for your needs.
Acceptable materials that can be included and/or mixed depend on what type of project you’re using the dumpster for.
The pricing depends on the size, the material in the dumpster, and the city of delivery. Special discounts may apply for some types of material (such as metal loads). We use a flat rate pricing structure to keep things simple and straight-forward. Pricing includes the delivery, removal, fuel surcharge, taxes, 7 days of use (or more, depending on the season), and an allotted tonnage (varies by size and material type). For instance, a 12 yard dumpster for a general trash load in Madison would be $475, including 1 ton of material ($55 per ton thereafter, prorated) and 7 days of use ($20 per day thereafter). Please contact us for pricing specific to your project.
All temporary dumpsters can be kept for 7 days anytime during the year without additional charges. Depending on the season, more time may be included in the flat rate price. You can certainly keep the dumpster past the time included in the flat rate price at a rate of $20 per day. (Other options may be possible for long-term projects.) Please contact us for the current days included.
In the Madison area, we have a same-day guarantee for deliveries as long as you place your order by 10 a.m. (Monday-Friday)! Outside of the Madison area, next-day service is available (Monday-Friday), although there may be lower rates in some areas for having service on a specific day of the week. Saturday service is available for some sizes in some areas for an additional fee. Please contact us for more info.
We prefer that someone be on-site for the delivery to ensure the placement is correct and to sign a delivery agreement. The agreement has important information regarding proper usage of the dumpster, prohibited materials, liability, etc. However, if you cannot be on-site, we can have you sign the waiver in advance via email or fax.
Dumpsters are most commonly placed in driveways. Placing a dumpster in the street may be feasible, but you must contact your municipality first to see if it’s allowed; a permit may be required with a fee. Placing a dumpster on the lawn is typically not advisable as it will cause damage. Driveways must have a firm foundation or the combined weight of the dumpster, contents, and truck could cause damage. If you have any concerns, please call our office at 608-257-4285 we would be happy to discuss them. Depending on the type of project, our 6 yd dumpster may be a good option; the dumpster and the truck that services it weigh considerably less than the 12, 20, and 30 yds. Adequate space for the dumpster and truck is needed. Please see the information in the tabs above for space requirements.
