Pellitteri Waste Systems will host a tour at its Material Recovery Facility on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in honor of Recycling in Action Month. The tour will take place in the Education Room from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Attendees will not be permitted on the working floor. Select the Registration button below - you must register to attend. Requirements: You must be at least 8 years of age to participate in the tour. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Tour participants are required to wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
Recycling in Action Month is focused on showing Americans that recycling is real and increasing visibility into how it works. It is sponsored by the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR).
