Pellitteri Waste Systems will host a tour at its Material Recovery Facility on May 13th in honor of Recycling in Action Month. The tour will take place in the Education Room from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13th. Attendees will not be permitted on the working floor. Register below. Spots are limited. Requirements: You must be at least 8 years of age to participate in the tour. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Tour participants are required to wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
Recycling in Action Month is focused on showing Americans that recycling is real and increasing visibility into how it works. It is sponsored by the Solid Waste Association of North American (SWANA) and the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR).
