Town of Burke residents have one Christmas tree collection in January each year. The dates will change each year and this webpage will be updated once scheduled.
Remove all ornaments, lights, etc. Place the trees curbside, perpendicular to the street with the cut end facing the street. Trees will not be collected if buried in the snow or frozen to the ground.
Place your trees out by 6:00 a.m. on Monday. We will make one trip through the township during that week.
2024 Christmas Tree Pickup Week:
Town of Burke residents usually have several yard waste curbside pickups each year. The dates will change each year and this webpage will be updated once scheduled.
Yard waste and grass clippings must placed in either a reusable container, compostable bags, or in plastic bags. Bags and/or containers must be no more than 32-gallons and no heavier than 50 pounds. Plastic bags should be left open, untied. The empty plastic bags will be left behind for the resident to dispose of; please leave a container for the driver to place them in so they do not blow away. Loose yard waste, yard waste on tarps, and yard waste in bags that have been tied shut will not be collected. Contaminated bags or containers will not be collected.
Place your bags/containers curbside by 6:00 a.m. on the Monday of your collection week. We will make one trip through the township during that week.
